Wine Spectator reveals 2019 Restaurant Awards
Wine Spectator is a lifestyle magazine that focuses on wine and culture, also providing ratings for different wines. Every year since 1981, Wine Spectator has been honouring restaurants who offer interesting wine list selections and appeal to a wide range of enthusiasts. The Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards are categorised into three categories – Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award.
The newly revealed list of Wine Spectator in 2019 awarded nearly 3800 restaurants. This year’s winning restaurants hail from all 50 states of the US and 79 countries and territories. The awards are given across three categories: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award.
Benno, Cardoncello DiVino, to name a few were the Award of Excellence winners this year. This year saw 1244 winners in the Best of Award of Excellence winners for 2019. For instance Acre in Auburn, Casa Lever in Manhattan et cetera. These eight restaurants earned the Spectator’s Grand Award for the first time in 2019:

Griggeler Stuba in Lech am Arlberg, Austria
Mastro’s Steakhouse at the Post Oak in Houston
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Downtown Houston in Houston

Ristorante Cracco in Milan
Vantre in Paris
