Turkish Airlines signs MoU with The British College

On February 12, 2020, Turkish Airlines and The British College announced a long term agreement to aid students and employees in terms of travel needs.

Abdullah Tuncer Kececi, General Manager of Turkish Airlines and Joey Foster Ellis, the Executive Principal of The British College, signed a memorandum of understanding in an event today. 

“Turkish Airlines has understood the importance of participation of youth. And, it has always been at the front to support the youth of the nation toward brighter education,” Kececi said. “We have been providing aid to different educational organisations. We encourage the youths to go abroad, educate themselves and then return back to work hard for their country,” he added. 

“The British College students will get fare and extra luggage facilities from Turkish Airlines upon showing their identification card. Employees will also be provided with the facilities on travelling with Turkish Airlines,” as per the agreement.

During the event, Kececi expressed his support for education. To which Joey Foster Ellis remarked, “Education is the gateway to the world and so is Turkish Airlines. Through this agreement, we want to provide the opportunity for our students to have international exposure through various trips, abroad.”
