Medical assistance from China arriving at Tatopani today

The medical assistance that China will provide to Nepal as earlier announced is arriving at Tatopani transit point along the Nepal-China border today, the Tatopani Customs Office said.

According to the office chief, Lal Bahadur Khatri, the assistance materials will be arriving here and the government decided to open the transit point which has been closed since the 2015 earthquake for this. Medical protocol will be followed to complete screen all materials. The assistance is meant to help Nepal combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

A medical team has been kept on standby for the same. With the import of the materials, the operation of this transit point will also resume officially.
