King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday. The meeting was held during PM Abe’s official visit to Saudi Arabia as part of his regional tour. The king and Abe reviewed bilateral relations and ways of developing cooperation in accordance with the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030.
Launched in 2017, the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 is intended to promote ties from the exchange of goods to strategic partnership between the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of tourism, security of supplies, artificial intelligence and renewable energy and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interests.
