International Mountain Museum needs to be developed
At a programme organised by Nepal Mountaineering Association at International Mountain Museum premises, NCP Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal shared that the museum depicts culture, tradition and civilisation of mountainous areas of Nepal. Pointing out the need for development, he expressed his commitment to providing possible support for its systematic development.
Similarly, Prithvi Subba Gurung, Chief Minister of Gandaki State, also urged to run the museum in a systematic way.
NMA Chair Santabir Lama shared that around 300,000 tourists visit the museum annually.
NMA had organised the event on the occasion of its 17th anniversary and World Peace Worship. The worship aims to wish for eternal peace of those who died in the course of a mountain expedition.
